The Jack L. Siegal Memorial Scholarship was created in memory of one of the first supporters of the Community for Education Foundation, Jack Siegal, who taught by example the importance of communication, decision making, and goal setting in overcoming life’s obstacles. The Scholarship Fund is designed to provide $10,000 in financial assistance to student honorees of the Overcoming Obstacles Achievement Awards. Each year, the Community for Education Foundation recognizes young people who demonstrate exemplary communication, decision making and goal setting skills to overcome life’s challenges.
